7:00 – 8:15pm — Beginning Argentine Tango
8:30 – 9:30pm — Practice (with individual instructor attention if desired)
Location: 5540 S Kenwood Drive, Murray, UT 84107.
Cost: $10/class or $100 pre-registration for the entire 12-week beginning series. Further discounts are available for groups that pre-register for the entire series.
Goals:
1) To introduce or review the fundamental technique and most useful elements of social Argentine tango
2) To help interested dancers improve their own technique and, indirectly, the overall level of dancing in the local tango community.
Complete beginners are welcome. No previous dance experience is required. Having a practice partner is encouraged.
Dress is comfortable casual. Dresses, skirts or pants are fine. Shoes can be dance shoes or practice shoes. For beginning dancers, any shoe with a hard sole that easily pivots on a hardwood floor and that will not come off when walking backward will suffice.
