Tango Basics – Introduction to ArgentineTango
This is an 8-week series of lessons designed for beginners with little or no experience and for dancers who want to review the basic principles and elements of Argentine tango as a social dance form.
The class meets from 7:30pm to 9:00pm on Tuesday evenings at the Clubhouse (former home of the Ladies’ Literary Club) at 850 E South Temple, Salt Lake City, UT 84102
Instructor: Mark Christensen (with the assistance of dancers in the community)
Cost: $80 per person for the series (or $150 per partnered couple) Payment can be made in advance directly to Mark or, at the door, to the Clubhouse.
Parking is free on the street or in the lot behind the Ear, Nose, and Throat Center just around on the corner on 9th East. (There is a gate from this lot to the walkway alongside the Clubhouse.)
This is an opportunity to introduce your interested friends to tango. (If you are an experienced dancer bringing new people to tango and would like to assist with the class, please contact Mark.)
